Inspired by Spencer Nugent of ID Sketching, David Woon decided to self-initiate a “Sketch-A-Day” Project.

David decided that it was time to refine his sketching skills, and ever since embarking on his Sketch-A-Day journey, he has gained confidence in sketching with a pen instead of a pencil.

Here are his sketches:

Day 2

Day 3

Day 4

Day 5

Day 6

Day 7

Day 8

Day 9

Day 10

Day 11

Day 12

Day 13

@David: Thanks for sharing. Your pen/fineliner sketches (Day 1 & 2) are effective in communicating form. However, your marker technique looks abit overdone. The shading on your latest sketches are pretty good too, pen/fineliner seem to be your strength.

The Design Critic: If you are a designer and you can’t draw to save your life, you’d better start your very own “Sketch-A-Day”.
